Definition and context
The Copernicus Climate Change Service provides data, indicators, and explanations for studying climate. It is implemented by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, ECMWF, within the Copernicus programme. Its methodology pages define variables, domains, and reference periods.
Before comparing a figure from its bulletins with one from another source, these definitions should be reviewed. One product may use air temperature over all surfaces, while another combines variables according to the domain. Temporal resolution and reference period also matter. This page serves as an entry point to the primary source; it does not reproduce its charts or claim that the service has reviewed SciClue articles.
